Ultrasonic Reactor uses the principle of ultrasonication process to increase the chemical reaction speed of the vergetable oils and animal fats into biodiesel. This method can improve the efficiency and reduce the operational costs. Also, in-line ultrasonic reactor can change the production from batch processing to continuous flow processing and achieve a biodiesel yield over 97%.
Ultrasonication can also reduce the seperation time from to 10 hours into 1 hour or less. The amount of catalyst and alcohol are reduced to 15 ~35% due to increase the chemical activity during at cavitation process. The resulted byproduct of glycerin can be increased in purity.
